THIS BLOG IS PRO-TRICK OR TREATMENT

Fres you slut

I recognize it’s an absolutely trashy outfit, I just love how ludicrous it is.

Y’know, for like anyone other than Nightingale, I’d totally be right there with you.

But Nightingale!

I’m not up on F/GO enough for that to matter.

It’s Florence Nightingale, who’s a berzerker because she’ll stop at nothing to save a life while rocking a red coat from the Crimean.

Not wear a day-glo condom.

So my new English professor is my uncle only he has no idea because he hasn’t talked to my mom in about 20 years so do you think is should tell him

You know what nevermind he’s a dick I’m going to talk to my mom to get dirt on him so I can blackmail him if the need arises

You should write a story about a boy for an assignment and include loads of life details about him that your mum tells you so that it’s obviously him but change all the names then hand it in and be really confused if he questions you about it

Oh my god

Jesus that’s just… cruel fantastic hilarious?

my problem with a lot of body positivity / progressive beauty culture stuff is that it focuses on expanding the definition of beautiful rather than deconstructing the idea that physical beauty indicates worth. my difficulties with living in a body (and therefore with living, period) often come back to the fact that no matter how tightly i control my body, i am viewed as either object of disgust or object of desire (occasionally both simultaneously). i can never be neutral. i can never be subject. my difficulty with existing would not be assuaged, at least not for long, by winning the game of “beautiful.” winning is not the same as having agency or personhood. we don’t need to change the rules of the game. we need to stop playing.
